Jakarta, September 11, 2025 – PT MNC Guna Usaha Indonesia, a multifinance company under MNC Kapital Tbk, has received additional funding of Rp40 billion from the Sharia Business Unit of Bank Kalsel.
The Mudharabah-based sharia financing facility will be used to strengthen the company’s sharia financing business, particularly in special Hajj and Umrah financing managed by the Sharia Business Unit of PT MNC Guna Usaha Indonesia. The collaboration between MNC Guna Usaha Indonesia and Bank BPD Kalsel has been running smoothly, with a total funding facility amounting to Rp533 billion to date.
The Mudharabah financing agreement was signed by Henri Gunawan, Director of PT MNC Guna Usaha Indonesia, together with Fachrudin, President Director of Bank BPD Kalsel, and witnessed by the management teams of both parties. This strategic partnership aims to strengthen the funding structure of MNC Guna Usaha Syariah through its sharia unit, which focuses on financing Special Hajj and Umrah programs.
“We would like to thank Bank BPD Kalsel for the strong collaboration we have built so far. The sharia financing provided will focus on Special Hajj and Umrah programs. We hope this financing will serve as a solution for the Muslim community in Indonesia, offering greater convenience and faster access in fulfilling their call to Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina,” said Henri Gunawan.
Meanwhile, Fachrudin, President Director of Bank BPD Kalsel, emphasized that this synergy is a testament to the banking sector’s trust in MNC Guna Usaha Indonesia.
“We believe that this collaboration with MNC Guna Usaha Indonesia will bring significant benefits, both in the development of each company’s business and in expanding access to financing for the wider community. It is also part of our commitment to broaden access to sharia-based financing for society,” he explained.
Through its sharia business unit, MNC Guna Usaha Indonesia offers Special Hajj and Umrah financing products targeted at Muslim communities with a steady income. Financing provided under sharia contracts is expected to offer both solutions and convenience for Muslims in accelerating their call to Hajj and performing Umrah.
