MNC Leasing Planting 1.000 Mangroves, JAKARTA

PT MNC Guna Usaha Indonesia (MNC Leasing) as a multifinance company under PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk is collaborating with MNC Peduli to hold an event about planting 1.000 mangrove plants  in the Pantai Indah Kapuk ecotourism area, North Jakarta on Friday, March 13, 2020.

Planting of mangrove seedlings was represented by President Director of MNC Leasing, Paulus Cholot Janala and Director of MNC Peduli, Jessica Tanoesoedibjo.

Paulus said that planting mangrove seedlings is a program to implement Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities from MNC Leasing that required by Financial Services Authority of Indonesia for multifinance companies since 2020.

"We represent MNC Peduli to thank MNC Leasing. Hopefully this activity can be held regularly to contribute directly to the environment," said Jessica Tanoesoedibjo.

Jessica said that planting of mangroves is very important activity because it can protect the coast of Indonesia from erosion and abrasion that always happened. It is also useful for enriching the brackish flora and fauna that lives from mangrove trees and increasing positive impact on the economy and the quality of the environment.

At the same event MNC Leasing also provided education to employees regarding Sustainable Finance and the benefits of planting mangrove trees.

"In the future, We hope MNC Leasing can continue to provide the best contribution to society and the environment, this has become one of our goals to create an organization that oriented to the Planet, People and Profit," said Paulus.
