PT MNC Guna Usaha Indonesia (MNC Leasing) cooperates with PT Sany Perkasa to finance heavy equipment. The cooperation is stated in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed directly by the President Director MNC Leasing Ageng Purwanto and the President Director of PT Sany Perkasa, Rock Zhang.
The President Director of MNC Leasing Ageng Purwanto said that the cooperation between his party and PT Sang Perkasa is expected to be able to answer the challenges of heavy equipment financing needs in Indonesia. In addition, this collaboration can also strengthen the Corporates’s and Sany Perkasa position in the heavy equipment business line.
“We believe that this strong cooperation is expected to strengthen the position of Sany Perkasa and MNC Leasing in the construction sector," he said at the signing of the cooperation at PT Sany Perkasa, Jakarta, Thursday (12/21/2017).
Ageng hoped further that the cooperation would be able to answer the challenges of heavy equipment financing needs in Indonesia because his focus now is to provide financing to the construction market in Indonesia in order to be able to compete in the heavy equipment market.
“The construction sector in 2018 is predicted to remain positive and continue to run even though 2018 is a political year. Medium and long-term construction projects still require a lot of heavy equipment investment. This is the opportunity we grab together with Sany Perkasa to meet the needs in the construction sector,” he explained.
MNC Leasing, he continued, continues to strengthen the organization by providing reliable resources and having one of the focuses on financing heavy equipment in each MNC Leasing offices that are spread across 11 cities throughout Indonesia.
“This heavy equipment financing can be carried out through conventional financing scheme, and Sharia scheme through the MNC Leasing Sharia Business Unit,” he said.
Meanwhile, the President Director of PT Sany Perkasa Rock Zhang claimed to be helped by the cooperation. Moreover, MNC Leasing is very experienced in providing heavy equipment financing.
"MNC Leasing is one of the major leasing companies in Indonesia and is also quite experienced in heavy equipment. So, it can also provide full support for Sany Perkasa," he explained.
"Furthermore, Zhang hopes that this cooperation with MNC can be even better. Particularly, in supporting construction financing in Indonesia," he explained.
In addition, MNC Leasing targets to continuously strengthen the services to become the top choice of heavy equipment financing in the construction sector. Projected at the end of 2017, MNC Leasing is able to record a profit increase of more than 100% compared to 2016.
The heavy equipment market experienced an increase of more than 50% year on year (yoy) compared to 2016. Until November 2017, PT Sany Perkasa felt the effects of heavy equipment increasing sales and was able to record sales of up to 550 Excavator units from several types for the period of January-November 2017.
